The Movement Mechanic

Although exercise has always been a huge part of my life, it wasn’t until 2012 when I decided to dedicate my career to improving the health and fitness of others.

I had been competing in recreational endurance events for four years prior to this and due to the positive changes in my lifestyle, I knew I needed to share these health benefits with others.

I started my career with the NHS before moving to Virgin Active as a Personal Trainer. After three years with Virgin I moved to Nuffield Health for four more years. Finally, I decided it was time to start my own enterprise, The Movement Mechanic.

I love movement in any type of form, running, cycling, swimming, weightlifting, yoga, pilates, whatever the activity, I love to get involved. I appreciate not one size fits all and one of the most beautiful things about exercise is that it comes in so many different forms.

Through experience and knowledge, I have learned that as long as you can find a way to keep active on a daily basis, you’re winning.

Together we can work on finding a routine that you can adhere to, a routine that suits your likes avoids your dislikes, complements your lifestyle, and bring all aspects into all harmony.

Neuro-Kinetic Therapy alongside other therapeutic interventions can help out if you have any restrictions with movement capacity or even previous injuries causing pain and discomfort. We can start chunking things together, rebuilding a stronger more stable platform.

Once mobility and integrity have improved we can move onto bigger whole-body exercises, giving you more return in relation to your health and fitness goals.

The range and scope of space and equipment that is available at No Limits Fitness in Hillmorton means that I can use my expertise to provide a totally bespoke personal training experience.

Being one of the longest running and most respected private gym’s in the county, being able to utilise that knowledge and working in an environment with others who aspire to achieve great things, pushing their limits has provided an exceptional training environment.

Stepping up in the zone to help you overcome obstacles and inhibitions isn’t an easy task, but being around like minded others can help you persevere.
